FLS is dedicated to creating products with naturally sourced ingredients from the earth. The added formulas contains oils that can be both igested & used topically. In part we strive to create trust in our customers that our products will deliver nourished & refreshed skin.

Our skin is our largest multifunctional organ that acts as our first layer of defense against all elements. It protects us from germs, regulates body temperature & enables our touch sensation. Our epidermis is also absorbent, elastic, waterproof, produces sweat, makes oils, growns hair & the list goes on. Taking care of the organ right that does all of this for us is our mission.

First Layer Skin is a proud black woman owned business. All the products are handmade in Newark, NJ from start to finish by the CEO. We outsource our Black Soap from local black & african owned business & partner with black owned print shops our Newark. Our goal is to pour back into our community by networking with other local black and brown owned businesses.
